Children's Discovery Museum

The Children's Discovery Museum is the first of
its kind children’s museum in Bangkok and in Thailand.
The museum is aimed at teaching children about various
forms of knowledge in a friendly and exciting way. It is
in fact a great place where children can learn while
they have fun too. Composed of several floors, each
floor has something special for kids.
General Information

At the museum there are several floors, Society and
Culture form the knowledge base of the second floor,
the Technology gallery on the top floor
and much more. Here children learn everything
from computers, to electricity, transportation as well
as about telecommunication.
In the 2nd buildiung on
the first floor is the Queen Sirikit Park
Gallery. Here children can understand about forest
conservation and how the Queen has done her bit to help
in this cause.
The Rainbow City is one of the most popular sections
for kids aged less than 6 years. The entire area
has been modeled in the form of a small-city, which
comprises a supermarket, clinic, fire station, a book
corner and a niche for toddlers
making it a fun place for the kids.
The museum also has a different set of varied activities
to keep the children going. These
include, candle making,
weaving using a small weaving machine,
cooking and more.
Let your children try their hands at becoming carpenters
or even building an unfinished house on their own.
Kids in the age group of 8 to
12 really enjoy these activities most.
The last building of this museum is dedicated to nature.
Children can see wild animals in their natural
environment. Animals such as rabbits, fish, scorpion,
etc are housed there.
All in all the Children's Discovery
Museum is a wonderful, entertaining and educational
place for Children to learn while they play.

the building. All food has to be consumed
well within the premises of the cafeteria. |

The Museum is located right in the
Chatuchak Park. You can get there by Skytrain (Stop: Mo
Chit).
