Wat Pho in Bangkok offers classes for Thai massages, where you can enroll on any Monday. The course varies from a week to ten days at the end of which you will be given a certificate. Depending on your level of interest you can take up short or long courses.

While in Bangkok, try out some of the meditation classes for peace and tranquility. Several places in Bangkok offer such courses in meditation. Wat Mahathat is the ideal place to start where you will be taught the Vipassana technique of meditation. Here English speaking Buddhist monks can instruct you in learning meditation. A normal course ranges for eight days, though you might also try it for a day or two.
