Bangkok Post Offices

The Thai postal system is very
reliable and economical. They are located throughout the
city at major locations. Stamps can be purchases
directly at a post office or at many hotels and
convenience stores. However, if shipping parcels or
value items it is recommended to use Express Mail
Service (EMS). They offer both domestic and
international services to a bit higher price than
regular post. It is well worth it as your sent good is
registered and insured.
Note: The Post Office charges less for parcels tied with a string than sealed ones, in order to ease up the process of checking suspicious content.
Post offices in Bangkok and Thailand are open from 8am –
4:30pm, and 8am - 1pm at weekends and holidays.
