Moobans (Muu-Baan)
Unlike many Western Countries, in Thailand
the more upper class houses are all located in
Moobans, which gives one the feel of a secure
residential village. These Moobans are shut out
from the outside, walled up and patrolled by security on
their bikes. The whole point of this concept is to
maximize security for the inhabitants allowing no-one
without an ID to enter which includes street vendors.

existing mortgages, or any kind of legal hold up of the
property you are interested in. A legal check on the
property needs to be done; similarly if the venture is
commercial you need to have an estimate done of the
evaluation of the property in hand. Choose a real estate
agent with care and do not believe in everything that
anyone tells you. Remember before you invest your money
you need to do some research of your own too.
