Learning Thai can be a challenging
experience as pronounciation is key and a words which
seem similar can have different meanings.
For example: One
of the is the word "kao". It depends on how it is
pronounced and has 5 different meanings.
- Kao (said in a fast pace and high
pitch) means to enter into a place.
- Kao (in a rising tone) means
he/she (him/her)
- Kao (in a long high tone) means Rice
- Kao (in a long straight tone) means White
- Kao (in a downward long tone) means News |

So while you learn Thai
please keep in mind that learning the grammar is one
thing, but most importantly is to hit the right tones.
It would be beneficial to study at a school with either
a private teacher or in a classroom.
